Learn how to create a professional profile and how to use LinkedIn to build your network. Bring your computer so that you can edit and improve as we go along. Take-aways include: concrete tips and suggestions for honing your profile, time to consider and edit sections of your profile, insider strategies for making the most of LinkedIn's features. Light lunch will be served. This is a NOD workshop.

Develop an understanding of the role of networking when conducting a job search. Learn how verbal communication skills play a vital role in networking. Workshop take-aways include: practice networking, practice seamlessly beginning and ending short conversations, deeper understandings of the goals of networking (as well as what are not the goals of networking).
