From resources on maintaining a work/life balance to entering a new culture, Tufts offers many community resources aimed at supporting students in every aspect of their lives.

Child Care and Work/Life Balance
Resources for students, faculty, and staff with regards to work/life support. Note that there is a dedicated e-list for students with children that is not reviewed or read by Tufts faculty or staff, along with other e-lists shared across the Tufts community.

Counseling and Mental Health Services
Graduate students who have paid the health fee have access to free one-on-one appointments, resources, and collective support groups and workshops through Counseling and Mental Health Services.

Diversity Resources
There are many university resources, academic centers, and affinity groups devoted to developing knowledge of and appreciation for diversity at Tufts. All students are welcome to participate in the many social and intellectual activities hosted throughout the year.

Health Insurance
Graduate Students are required to have medical coverage under an accident/sickness insurance plan, and are automatically enrolled in and billed for a comprehensive plan offered through Tufts University. The plan is available for students, and if necessary their dependents. The 2015-2016 cost of the plan is $2,451.

International Center
The International Center is open as a resource center and contact for all international students, leading social activities and offering transition support across the graduate school and connecting international and domestic students. They offer an annual Graduate Student Orientation to international students to ease the transition to graduate school and to the United States.

Student Accessibility Services
Tufts University provides reasonable accommodations to students with disabilities such as impaired hearing, speech, mobility, or vision, and students with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder, Assistance is also provided to students coping with serious illness.

Tufts University Chaplaincy 
The chaplaincy is a dynamic hub supporting religious, spiritual, ethical, and cultural life for the Tufts community on all of our campuses. The chaplaincy provides pastoral care, supports religious and philosophical communities, educates about spiritual and ethical issues, and promotes multifaith engagement within Tufts' tradition of progressive thought in education.
