Learn about the multiple stages of academic-position negotiation. Gain familiarity with considerations essential for preparing for the negotiation; role play negotiation with peers to practice win-win orientation while creating healthy working relationships with the university; reflect as a group on the strength and weaknesses of your negotiation outcomes. Facilitated by Dr. Sinaia Nathanson. This is a Notation Track workshop. Dinner will be provided prior to the workshop, from 5:30 – 6:00 pm. Registration is required for this workshop.

Identify obstacles that may be inhibiting your writing process, improve your understanding of the expectations for graduate-level writing, manage procrastination and perfectionist tendencies, and build time for writing into your busy schedule. Activities and discussion will help you explore your personal writing process and develop techniques for becoming a more productive writer. Facilitated by the Academic Resource Center.
