Connecticut College/Tufts Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Combined Degree in Museum Education (BA/MA)

The Connecticut College/Tufts Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Combined Degree in Museum Education (BA/MA) offers undergraduate Connecticut College students an accelerated path to earn their master’s degree in Museum Education from Tufts.

With faculty approval, accepted students can apply two courses used to complete their undergraduate degree towards Tufts’ MA in Museum Education. The MA degree can typically be completed in less than a year and a half. Students must graduate from Connecticut College before matriculating into the graduate program at Tufts.

Applicants to this program also will have a streamlined application process with only two letters of recommendation required and the application fee waived. Connecticut College Juniors must apply by March 15 and Seniors should apply by December 15. 

To apply to the program, applicants should select “Museum Education (MA)” for their Program of Study and “BA/MA Connecticut College undergraduates only” for their Degree on the Application Information page of the online application. To receive the application fee waiver, on the same page please select the checkbox “Current Senior at Howard University or a NESCAC school applying to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.”
