Attend an Information Session or Take a Campus Tour

Visiting our campus is the best way to get a feel for the Tufts graduate school experience. By attending an information session, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the degree program you are interested in. By taking a campus tour, you’ll see the facilities we have to support graduate student research and engagement.

Register for an Upcoming Session

We also encourage students to reach out to the department graduate directors to arrange meetings with faculty and/or current students.

Virtual Visit and Information Sessions

Due to COVID-19, our campus continues to be closed to visitors. Instead, we warmly invite prospective applicants and students to virtually visit Tufts. Register for a virtual information session, or take a virtual tour. We look forward to the day when we can welcome visitors back to campus!

Parking on Campus

Enter the parking garage at 419 Boston Avenue. When you have concluded your visit, you will need to purchase a parking pass for $8 in Dowling Hall so that you may exit the garage. Token machines are available on the 7th floor, directly across from the elevators.

Public Transportation

If you are coming by subway, or “T,” take the Red Line to the Davis Square Station. Exit the Davis Square Station on the College Avenue side. You may take the #94 or #96 bus or walk 15 minutes along College Avenue to the Tufts campus. If you board the bus, ask the driver to stop across from the Memorial Steps at Tufts University, just before the intersection of College and Boston Avenues. If you walk from Davis, turn right out of the subway station and follow College Avenue to the Powderhouse Square traffic circle. Cross Powderhouse Circle to continue on College Avenue. As you continue of College Avenue, the Tufts Campus will be on your left. Continue on College Avenue, passing Lower Campus Road, Talbot Avenue, and Professors Row (all of which will be on your left), until you reach the Memorial Steps (also on your left). Walk up the steps and bear right. Turn right after you pass East Hall and walk across the footbridge into Dowling Hall. The Admissions reception desk is straight ahead.

By public transit: Board the Silver Line Waterfront Bus at the front of your airport terminal. Ride to South Station (15–20 minutes) and get off the bus. At South Station, board the Red Line (subway) to Davis Square, about a 15–20 minute ride. Follow the directions in the previous section on getting to Tufts by Subway.
