Allan Mathew

Allan C. Mathew, PhD (he/him)

Director of Graduate Admissions

Allan serves as the Director of Graduate Admissions and has been in this role for the past few years and has been in graduate admissions for over a decade. He helps support the admissions process by partnering with Deans, academic departments, key partner offices, and the graduate admissions team to help support students through the application and admissions process. Allan spends most of his time outside of work chasing his toddler around, golfing, and eating at the best local restaurants in the area.

Douglas Alford, MA (he/him)

Sr. Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment

Douglas joined the Office of Graduate Admissions in 2024 as the Sr. Associate Director of Graduate Admissions. In this role, he supports the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering recruitment efforts. Outside of work, Douglas enjoys exploring everything the city of Boston has to offer.

Gabriella Dibattista

Gabrielle DiBattista (she/her)

Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator

Gabrielle has been at Tufts since 2019. In her role as Coordinator, she manages the decision-release process as well as the transcript requirement for enrolling students. In her free time she enjoys exploring new restaurants and visiting art museums.

Edilia Foster (she/her)

Graduate Admissions Assistant

Edilia joined the Office of Graduate Admissions in 2023 as a Graduate Admissions Assistant. She helps applicants submit their materials and answers questions about the admissions process and requirements. When she's not at Tufts, she loves to travel domestically and internationally and has visited 6 out of 7 continents.

Maddie Key, MA (she/her)

Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions

Maddie has been working at Tufts since November 2019 and has been with the Office of Graduate Admissions since October 2023. In her role, Maddie partners with departments, the Dean's Office, and current students to engage inquiring and admitted students with the graduate programs at Tufts University. Throughout the year, Maddie hosts information sessions, campus tours, and 1:1 sessions to prospective graduate students. After work and on the weekends, Maddie loves to read (both physical books and audio!), spend time with her loved ones, and go for long walks along the various walking trails in and around Boston.

Kristina Maguire

Kristina Maguire (she/her)

Sr. Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions

Kristina has worked with Tufts since 1995 and has been with the Office of Graduate Admissions since October 2012. In her role, Kristina works with the Dean’s office, and academic departments, and helps support the graduate admissions team and assistants with the admissions process and defer requests. Whenever Kristina is not at Tufts, she is driving her two teenage kids to sports activities, and to friends' houses, and she loves to spend time with family and friends.

 

Cassidy Murphy

Cassidy Murphy (she/her)

Graduate Admissions Assistant

Cassidy joined the Office of Graduate Admissions in September 2022 and works primarily with programs in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She processes applications, making sure they are complete and ready for departmental review and helps answer applicants' questions about the admissions process. Outside of Tufts, Cassidy enjoys concerts, hiking, and exploring Boston.

Ryan Tracy

Ryan Tracy (he/him)

Associate Director of Graduate Admissions

Ryan joined the Office of Graduate Admissions in 2019. He works primarily with the School of Engineering and supports the office's recruitment efforts. Outside of Tufts, Ryan coaches high school soccer and enjoys reading and hiking.

Tomiwa Afolabi

Tomiwa Afolabi (she/her)

Data Analytics MS Student

Tomiwa joined the Office of Graduate Admissions in September of 2024, as a Graduate Student Representative. As a graduate student in the Data Analytics program herself, Tomiwa has the valuable insight needed to provide information to prospective students. When Tomiwa is not in classes, she can be found exploring Davis Square, reading a book or practicing her crocheting skills.

Nico Corbo

Nico Corbo (he/him)

Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning MA Student

Nico began his studies at the Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning (UEP) in fall of 2024. In his role as a Graduate Student Representative, he will assist prospective student outreach and engagement. In Nico’s free time, he enjoys watching and playing soccer, attending concerts, and riding his bike or transit to explore the Boston area

Hannah is a first year graduate student at Tufts University. She went to Tufts for her undergraduate degree and loves that she is able to continue her education in the EliotPearson department! In her free time, Hannah loves to read and spend time with her dog.

Shubham Lokhande

Shubham Lokhande (he/him)

Engineering Management MSEM Student

Shubham is a first-year graduate student at the Tufts Gordon Institute. In his free time, Shubham likes to explore new places and try new cuisines. He loves to listen to music and play flute as well.

Khadija B. Nasir

Khadija B. Nasir (she/her)

Middle and High School Education MAT Student

In her role, Khadija dives deep into her studies and engages actively with the Tufts community. Outside of academics, Khadija enjoys exploring Boston’s libraries, experimenting with quirky recipes, and jotting down new poetry in her journal. She loves hiking the scenic trails around Boston and getting lost in a good book. Khadija is always excited to share her experiences and answer any questions about life at Tufts or the master’s program.

Zimmie Obiora

Human Factors Engineering MS Student

Zimmie joined the team as a Graduate Admissions Work Study in 2024. She’s passionate about supporting applicants as they navigate the admissions process and find their calling. She loves yoga, exploring different forms of art, and a good night of dancing.

Maame Adwoa Ofori-Kwafo

Maame Adwoa Ofori-Kwafo (she/her)

Sustainability MS Student

Maame is a first-year student who recently moved to the U.S. from Ghana. Her background is in Development Finance, and she is passionate about finding innovative solutions to sustainability challenges, especially in renewable energy and climate change. 

Beyond academics, she loves hiking and exploring new cultures through food and travel. Community-building is close to her heart, and Maame enjoys participating in events that bring diverse groups together. When she's not in the classroom or working, you can probably find her browsing the latest products at the nearest Ulta Beauty!

Shreya Suthakar

Shreya Suthakar (she/her)

Economics MS Student

Shreya is a first-year graduate student at Tufts University. When not at Tufts, she enjoys knitting, watching movies, and listening to music. She is also an animal lover and a passionate cricket enthusiast.
