Hello prospective Tufts Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and School of Engineering students! I want to take some time to introduce myself and share some resources with you. My name is Cassidy Murphy, and I am a Graduate Admissions Assistant here in the Office of Graduate Admissions. Whether applying to graduate school is something you’ve planned for years, or maybe you have just decided to pursue it, my team and I are here to help you throughout the admissions process, no matter what stage you’re at.

Applying to graduate school is an incredibly exciting time, but we recognize it can also be stressful and nerve-wracking. As you prepare your application, you may be flooded with questions. What programs are available? How can I apply? Are test scores required? If you are unsure where to start, we encourage you to browse our offered programs and familiarize yourself with the admissions process, application requirements, and international student requirements found on our website.

Our FAQ page is also a great resource! The page highlights our most frequently asked questions about the application process and answers questions about application materials, eligibility, and tuition/aid. It also covers general and post-submission questions. If you’re wondering whether Tufts accepts unofficial transcripts, what the minimum GPA is to apply, or if we offer application fee waivers, be sure to check it out!

We are often asked about who the best point of contact for a particular question. If you have questions regarding the admissions process, requirements and policies, or your application, please reach out to our office via phone 617-627-3395 or email gradadmissions@tufts.edu. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time (ET).  If you have program-specific questions, please contact your department of interest directly. You can find a program’s department on our programs page. Departments can answer questions about prerequisites, coursework, or your preparedness for a program. You can also discuss which program is the best fit for you and your goals.

If you still have uncertainties, please do not hesitate to contact our office. If we are unable to address your questions or concerns, we will guide you to someone who can help! I look forward to working with you on your applications!
